Styling Your Spring With Pantone 2015

Spring 2015 is the year of the off-kilter pastel. Pantone's 2015 Spring colors are gorgeous, cool toned, demure versions of earthy, natural colors.

They're all pretty gorgeous, but a lot of them aren't normal Spring go-to's. Normally, for Spring, I'd start wearing brighter pinks and lighter blues. That being said, I am so pumped to try out some of these new colors. So, I've taken the liberty of sorting out some outfits for every Spring occasion you might have, and made up some super cute looks!

Each look has at least one gorgeous Spring trend color in it and utilize pieces that you probably already have in your closet. Let's get started!

Spring is for Skirts

This look is one of my favorites. I can see myself wearing this any day of the week. I'd wear this outfit to go grocery shopping, let me tell you. In real life, this is great for a casual date, lunch with friends, or even work. Grab a light pink, Strawberry Ice like, pencil skirt. Pair it with a light brown, Toasted Almond tee with a little room and flow, and tuck it into the skirt. Black pumps with a bit of mesh bring a modern flair to a classic outfit. A Glacier Gray watch, diamond studs, and a gray tote wrap this look up with a bow.

Work In Blue

I would totally make friends with the girl who wore this to work. It's so chic but totally pulled together. Nude pumps for work are always a great idea, but these, in a muted Toasted Almond tone, are great for any outfit and skin tone. A dolman sleeve Custard colored blouse pairs great with these Classic Blue, menswear inspired ankle pants. Punky black accessories with studs and metallic accents give a great shine, and a kick em' in the pants attitude. Which, I mean, it's always a plus. A bold, blue-red lip pulls it all together.

Tangerillin'

Get it? Tangerine...chillin'? Tangerillin'? No? I tried, okay? Anyway, I think Tangerine and Lucite Green make the perfect Spring outfit. You could even transition these pieces into Summer with total ease. Boyfriend jeans make for a super casual day. Add a bright Tangerine tee, some Lucite Green pumps, and earth accessories and you are set for a fun lunch date or a day of shopping with your girls.

Marsala Madness

This dress is everything and a half. It's a dress that one of my favorite style icons, Genevieve Padalecki wore. It's a gorgeous purplish-Marasala tone dress with girly, romantic, sophisticated ruffles. Pair it with, again, that staple nude pump! This time in a patent leather for a more nighttime look. Rose gold accessories keep with the warm tones of the dress and compliment it beautifully. Add a satin, jeweled clutch to keep your gorgeous purple Stila lip gloss in and you're set for a party.

Each of these looks are totally possible in your daily life. While you might not have the exact pieces, you can totally take the feel of the look, $100, and a trip to the mall and make it your own. Let these inspire you to play around with the Pantone Spring 2015 choices. I'll have a gorgeous Marsala makeup look coming to my YouTube channel soon, so stay on the look out!

  1. Tangerillin' and Marsala Madness now please! This darling post just got me so excited for Spring. And lets thank you trend God's, or whoever gets to make these decisions that we've been blessed with gorgeous and very wearable tones for this season! Let's not talk about the tragic 'Acid Neon' year of 2013.
